Week 5 of the NFL season is already here as we have reached October games. The Lions control the division yet again at 3-1, Packers peaked after Week 1 and 2 and sit at 2-1-1. The Vikings are a rollercoaster and dealing with many injuries at 2-2. Finally the Bears are 2-2 after an 0-2 start. Getcha popcorn ready!
Packers and Bears Bye Week. Maybe they’ll hang out together.
Vikings “at” Browns (in England) 930 ET NFL Network
The Vikings continue their Eurotrip and Scottie doesn’t Know that the Vikings suck. Minnesota dropped the first game in Ireland losing to Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers 24-21. Carson Wentz has been the starter but JJ McCarthy may practice this week. The Vikings hope to get Ryan Kelly, Donovan Jackson and Brian O Neil back on the Oline which are injurie to monitor as well. Minnesota should have more success on the Browns but Cleveland has a very good run defense and Myles Garrett. It will be a problem if Garret goes against any backups. The Packers lost to the Browns in Cleveland but the Lions destroyed them in Detroit.
This will be a neutral game and the Vikings should have more fans. The key will be the Viking passing game coming to life and Vikings defense doing what they should against Joe Flacco and the Browns lackluster offense. Jordan Mason probably won’t have a good game but the Vikings can still move the ball by passing. Minnesota should feast on defense but the Browns won’t move the ball unless Judkins and Jerry Jeudy have success. The rookie TE has Harold Fannin has some production for the Browns this year too. Browns traded for Cam Robinson to help at LT and Jack Conklin could return from injury.

Lions at Bengals 425 ET FOX
The Lions look to continue their 3-game winning streak with a 3rd AFC North opponent in a row. The Cincinnati Bengals host the Lions but without Joe Burrow. Jake Browning has been awful in 2 games and the Bengals defense is average but have Trey Hendrickson. Chase Brown hasn’t had much success either and the Bengals offensive line has been a problem for them. The only issue for Detroit is that they will be missing their top 2 outsides CBs. If the Bengals get protection, Jamar Chase and Tee Higgins could feast. Amik Robertson is solid moving from nickel to outside but Rock Ya Sin will need to step up for this game.
Detroit has the offensive firepower (and ST) and plenty of defense in the front 7 and safety to win this game on the road. If Lions are +2 in turnovers, they should win in a waltz. 4-1 and building their lead in the North is a must with at KC and Tampa Bay looming.
