2023 NFL Draft Primers begin with WR. All North teams probably need one. Decent class with day 2 options but no elite WR.

Round 1

Quentin Johnston X WR TCU 6’3 208

Possession WR with good ability to win contested balls. Good size and can be a deep threat with jump balls.

Jaxon Smith Ngijba Z WR Ohio State 6’1 200 lbs

YAC guy with great separation and can be a good deep threat. Christian Kirk comparison. Injured year in 2022 probably dropped him to mid Round 1.

Zay Flowers Slot WR Boston College 5’9 182 lbs

Twitchy WR with good short area explosion. Elijah Moore comp. Needs to work on drops but can be productive.

Jordan Addison WR USC Z WR 5’11 173

Devonta Smith comparion. Speed but not a burner but good route runner. Good explosion but smaller frame some catch radius limitation.

Day 2

Josh Downs WR UNC 5’9 171 pounds

Fast quick slot guy. Tyler Lockett comp.

Tyler Scott WR Cincinnati 5’10 177 pounds

Thin frame but good route runner. High drop route

Jalin Hyatt Z WR Tennessee 6’0 176 pounds

Speedy deep threat. Will Fuller comp.

Jayden Reed WR Michigan State 5’11 187 pounds

Lightning quick and can beat the press. Poor man Stefon Diggs.
