The NFL Draft begins tonight at 8 PM. Here is a 7 round mock draft for each of the four NFC North teams. Enjoy the draft and we’ll see if I get any of these picks correct.

Chicago Bears

The Bears are missing a first due to Khalil Mack trade with Las Vegas/Oakland. They lost their 3rd but gained an extra 2nd from that trade. Finally, they are missing a 4th rounder due to Jacksonville trade for Nick Foles. Chicago needs a free safety with Dix gone, RG upgrade over Ifedi, CB2 with Amukamara gone and could add at WR (Taylor Gabriel cut) and ILB (depth). They get the CB and safety in this draft and a decent WR flier in Round 5. The Bears add guard depth only and roll with Ifedi as the starter. Keene replaces Trey Burton behind Jimmy Graham and Adam Sheehan. More depth at CB and LB in Round 7.

Bears Pick 43 Round 2 Damon Arnette CB Ohio State

Bears Pick 50 Round 2 Ashtyn Davis S Cal

Bears Pick 163 Round 5 James Proche WR SMU

Bears Pick 196 Round 6 Daltone Keene TE Virginia Tech

Bears Pick 200 Round 6 Tyre Phillips G Miss State

Bears Pick 226 Round 7 Myles Bryant CB Washington

Bears Pick 233 Round 7 Jacob Phillips LB LSU

Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings need some CBs, a WR and defensive line help. This draft hits on all those areas of need with good value. They use their extra first to replace Stefon Diggs and grab a starting CB to pair with Mike Hughes. Hamilton adds some interior strength and Taylor is the next mid-round DE the Vikings try to turn to gold like Hunter and Griffen. James Morgan intriguing developmental QB with LB, WR, DE and Safety depth.

Vikings Pick 22 Round 1 Justin Jefferson WR

Vikings Pick 25 Round 1 Jeff Gladney CB

Vikings Pick 58 Round 2 Davon Hamilton DT

Vikings Pick 89 Round 3 Darrell Taylor DE

Vikings Pick 105 Round 3 Damien Lewis Guard LSU

Vikings Pick 132 Round 4 Evan Weaver LB Cal

Vikings Pick 155 Round 5 James Morgan CB FIU

Vikings Pick 201 Round 6 Alex Taylor OT South Carolina St

Vikings Pick 205 Round 6 Joe Reed WR Viriginia

Vikings Pick 249 Round 7 Trevon Hill DE Miami

Vikings Pick 253 Round 7 Shyheim Carter S Alabama

Green Bay Packers

Green Bay snags another weapon for Aaron Rodgers to pair with Adams. GM Brian Guntekunst adds to their young CB ranks but re-sign Tramon Williams after draft. The Packers add a good backup QB with time to develop behind Rodgers for the next four seasons. Randy Moss’s son comes to Green Bay to moon the Vikings. Packers add some depth at CB, LB, RB and swing tackle.

Packers Pick 30 Round 1 Denzel Mims WR Baylor

Packers Pick 62 Round 2 Jaylon Johnson CB Utah

Packers Pick 94 Round 3 Jacob Eason QB Washington

Packers Pick 136 Round 4 Thaddeus Moss TE LSU

Packers Pick 175 Round 5 Charlie Heck OT UNC

Packers Pick 192 Round 6 Darius Anderson RB TCU

Packers Pick 208 Round 6 Shaquille Quarterman LB Miami

Packers Pick 209 Round 6 Essang Bassey CB Wake Forest

Packers Pick 237 Round 7 Lavert Hill CB Michigan

Packers Pick 242 Round 7 Bravion Roy Edge Baylor

Detroit Lions

The Lions swing a trade and grab a nose tackle with pass rush ability over Jeff Okudah. Detroit addes an extra 2nd round pick from the trade. Zach Baun added to bolster the pass rush and AJ Terrell becomes their next 2nd round CB to try to become a starter. Detroit finally turns to offense in Round 3 through the rest of the draft nabbing a powerful run blocking guard to replace Graham Glasgow and a big jump ball WR for the future in Tyler Johnson to help replace Marvin Jones in 2021. The Lions add a swing tackle with some starter potential and a slot CB in KJ Hill to battle with Amendola. RB and TE depth for the Lions and the punter to replace Sam Martin. Solid draft but unspectacular draft for Detroit in a make or break years for Bob Quinn and Matt Patricia.

Lions Pick 3 Round 1 trade to pick 5 with Miami: Derrick Brown DT Auburn

Lions Pick 35 Round 2 Zach Baun EDGE Wisconsin

Lions Pick 39 (from Miami) Round 2 AJ Terrell CB Clemson

Lions Pick 67 Round 3 Robert Hunt G Louisiana

Lions Pick 85 Round 3 Tyler Johnson WR Minnesota

Lions Pick 109 Round 4 Saadhiq Charles OT LSU

Lions Pick 149 Round 5 KJ Hill WR Ohio State

Lions Pick 182 Round 6 Jared Pinkney TE

Lions Pick 235 Round 7 Michael Turk P Arizona State
