The NFL off season is heating up. Franchise tag deadline is today and the Combine is complete. Free agency starts March 13. Let’s take a look at some big moves.

Tag N Trade

Franchise tags are coming in hot and heavy at the deadline.

Chiefs OLB Dee Ford was tagged for 15.3 million along with Seattle DE Frank Clark at 17.1 million. Stud Cowboys DE Demarcus Lawrence got a 20+ million second tag in a row from Dallas. Grady Jarett remains a Falcon with a 15+ million dollar tag. Jadeveon Clowney will remain with the Texans at 17.1 million.  Donovan Smith was tagged at 14 million to be Tampa Bay’s LT another year.

Brandon Graham signed a 3 year 40 million dollar deal as well to remain with the Eagles. The free agent DE market has been gutted per usual. Trey Flowers is the best remaining DE out there along with Cameron Wake. Justin Houston was cut by the Chiefs at OLB.

Robbie Gould got the kicker tag to remain in San Francisco.

New Deals

Jason Witten is back with the Cowboys at 3.5 million. He must be a better tight end than announcer.

Greg Robinson somehow got a 1 year 7 million dollar deal from the Browns. He is awful. Kareem Hunt is a Brown too despite his off-field troubles.

Robbie Anderson got a 2nd round tender from the Jets and Jason Kelce upped for 3 years 33 million to stay with the Eagles. Isaac Seamulo resigned to play guard for the Eagles for three years. Howie Roseman has been busy with the re-signs. Nick Foles will walk in free agency though and get paid by some QB needy team (cough Jaguars, end cough).

Spencer Long signed with the Bills at center and Eric Reid is no longer in a lawsuit  and got a 3 year 22 million dollar deal from the Panthers.

Denver Broncos traded a 4th round pick to obtain Joe Flacco to be their QB. Antonio Brown is trying to get traded badly.

Cuts

Justin Houston (OLB), Sam Acho (OLB Bears), Kevin Johnson (CB Texans), Jonathan Crypien (SS Titans), Dwayne Allen (TE Patriots), Cody Parkey (Goal Post Doinker, Bears), Michael Crabtree (WR), Captain Munnerlyn (CB), Dion Sims (Bears TE), Timmy Jernigan (DT) ,Vinny Curry (DE),  Cory Liuget (DE), Demaryius Thomas (WR were some big cuts.

Robert Alford and Brooks Reed were cut by the Falcons but already signed with the Cardinals. They love bird teams. Cardinals signed cut Bills TE Charles Clay too.
