Well, here we are, the end of 2017 NFL season. The Super Bowl. Some of us had high hopes back in September when the season started, while others just assumed it was going to be another disappointing season. Packer fan’s hopes were dashed by a broken bone while Saints, Panthers and Vikings’ fans were pleasantly surprised. Bears’ fans didn’t make the playoff cut, but they have hope that they can win 6 or even 7 games next season. The Bucs were who we thought they were; well all of us save that one guy. All that leaves us with is the Lions. LOL, LKP TruLost this. In the end, all of us are sitting on the sofa this Sunday trying to figure out which evil to cheer for (or against), as those NFCN & NFCS teams that did make the playoffs were ousted in spectacular fashion. C’est la vie.
As for the conference championship round, only two people picked up points. Horse correctly said that a total of 45 points would be scored in the NFCCG (how many of those 45 points did the Vikings score, Shooter? ). The other point was awarded for an against the grain. I don’t know what’s more surprising, that only one of us picked the Pats to beat the Jags, or that it was Nate who finally got an ATG point. Congrats Nate, you bitch. Horse entered the standings and Nate pulled into a second place tie with Glove, but that dork LKP is so far ahead for the post-season (unlike the Lions), that someone is going to have to nail the Super Bowl to catch him.
