So, my A’s lost last night. 1 game playoffs are stupid and I hate them. However, this is the second year in a row that Bob Melvin decided not to use his best pitcher for the wildcard game and this is the second year in a row it has bit him in the ass. What was he saving Mike Fiers for? Game one of the ALDS? Now I’m just some schlub scribbling down some words on an obscure sports website, but even I know that if you lose in the wildcard game, you don’t make it to the ALDS. Hats off to Tampa tho, they played a great game and as much as I’d like to cheer for Alex Bregman, fuck the Astros and go Rays!
Now for the reason you’re all here…to scroll down to the chat. If you don’t mind, I’m going to write some stuff to make you scroll more. Week 4 has come and gone and it has been proven to us that the Vikings do indeed suck. The Bears have to be the Super Bowl favorite now that Trubisky is ded. The Packers lost to a team that lost to the Falcons and the Lions…they actually played well. They lost, but they played well. LOLThem. Below the Mason–Dixon line, we have Jameis Winston throwing for 4 scores while defeating the once mighty LA Rams. The Panthers are starting to look like a threat with their backup QB and the Saints somehow found a way to win another one without Bridgewater’s help at all. The most pleasing part of week 4 for me was the continuing slide of the Atlanta Falcons. No worries though since they can still, mathematically, make it to 13-3 and prove Jammin correct. Speaking of Jammin…
Some people did some things last week. DanOnWis was the big mover, picking up 2 points. It was his first points of the year, but that’s okay since it puts him ahead of Donny in the standings. Jmac, LoW, 0125, Nate, Potatoes and myself all picked up one point. The point I got mattered the most tho, since it put me in first place all by myself, with no help from anyone what-so-ever.
