Lions at Eagles 1 PM FOX

The Lions are undefeated and will head to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles. The Lions are passing the ball and Stafford has 101 QB rating under new OC Darrell Bevell. The good news is the Eagles secondary have struggled early this season against Case Keenum and Matt Ryan. Stafford should have a big day if he is protected like he was in Week 2 (7 pressures) instead of Week 1 (24 pressures).

The Lions rushing offense has shown flashes with Kerryon Johnson and rookie Ty Johnson but their YPC is lacking . The Eagles are stout in run defense and the Lions will need to improve their run blocking if they want any success on the ground.

The Eagles run game has struggled with Jordan Howard, rookie Miles Sanders and Darren Sproles. The Lions run defense has been hit or miss without Jarrad Davis the first two weeks. Damon Harrison is a beast and needs to get back to his old form. Teams are running to the outside to avoid Harrison.

Carson Wentz had a big comeback in Week 1 but struggled in Week 2 due to injuries to Alshon Jeffrey and DeSean Jackson. Jackson should miss the game and Jeffrey will probably miss the game as well. However, Zach Ertz, Nelson Agolhor, Mack Hollins and rookie 2nd round pick JJ Arecgo Whiteside pose a threat. The Lions secondary has been good in coverage but the Lions will need to pick up the pass rush to make Wentz make mistakes.

The Lions should win a close game and carry Patricia off the field on their shoulders.

Raiders at Vikings 1 PM

Kirk Cousins really struggled in Week 2. Luckily, the Raiders defense isn’t as good as the Packers. Dalvin Cook has been running wild and will continue to do so against Oakland.

The Raiders got a good win in Week 1 but struggled expectedly against the Chiefs in Week 2. Derek Carr lost Antonio Brown to insanity but the Raiders. Tyrell Williams, Ryan Grant and rookie Hunter Renfrow just don’t cut it. Rookie Josh Jacobs can have success against the Vikings defense.

The Vikings should win this one easily and get Cousins some confidence.

Broncos at Packers 1 PM

The Packers have been great on defense the first two weeks. They are getting great pressure and forcing turnovers. This does not look like the defense of old.

The Packers offense has struggled except for the first quarter against the Vikings. They have done just enough to be 2-0 and Aaron Jones has had success toting the rock. Rodgers will look to torch Fangio’s defense with Adams, Valdes-Scantling, Jimmy Graham and Geronimo Allison.

The Broncos have really struggled. They should have beaten the Bears but the refs gave Chicago an extra second on the clock for a Bears winning field goal. Shocking win for Chicago and rough start for Vic Fangio in Denver. Miller, Chubb, Derek Wolfe and Kareem Jackson offer talent for the Broncos.

Joe Flacco has not been good in his first two Denver games. Courtland Sutton, Emmanuel Sanders and rookie Noah Fant offer some weapons. Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman offer a threat in the run game. The Broncos offensive line is terrible and the Packers should have a field day. Packers win big in Lambeau.

Bears at Redskins Monday Night Football

The Bears somehow won with a strong kicking game. Their defense has been really good but their offense has done nothing other than one touchdown in 2 games. Chicago better do well on offense against a struggling Redskins defense.

Washington’s offense has had success but gave a up 17-0 lead to the Eagles on the road and lost to a tough Cowboys team in Washington. The Bears should dominate with their defense and do just enough to escape with a win at Fedex Field.

Enjoy the games in Week 3. All the NFC North teams should win this week.
